Bára Hubená is a puppeteer, toymaker and scenic designer. After studying at the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts, majoring in toy design, and at the Theatre Academy of Performing Arts, Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre, she was a stage designer at Dejvice Theatre for eight years. She also created puppet sets for the Naive Theatre Liberec, Puppet Theatre Alfa, Říša pupůlek, Buchty a loutky, Hafan studio and Bratislava Puppet Theatre. Since 2006 she has been running regular Wooden Workshop courses for children.
