Světlem

The musical group Světlem was founded at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in September 2023.
It was born out of a strong need of young souls of the band members to start writing and playing their own original songs instead of covers. In December last year, the group gave their first public performance with their first three songs.
"We write out our own pains, sorrows and joys in them. Feelings that the listener can easily connect and sympathize with. Since then we have been writing more and more songs together with passion. We strive to spread love and light in a world full of hate and darkness – hence the band's name Light/Světlem."
Their work could be described as Czech alternative pop with elements of jazz.
