mr. Pink and the Bad Thoughts

We're a group formed around Mr. Pink, (of The Maggies Marshmallows, Thee Lazy Eyes, Trailer Trash, Johnny Hog Ranch) and we focus on playing gothic country. The songs are real-life sad stories, accompanied by dark synths, deep bass lines, and haunting female backing vocals behind the drums. There is a trembling western sound lending brightness to this whole night circus. We have been compared to sounds of 90s Berlin or Rowland S. Howard.

Who knows? Media describes us as Nick Cave after a stroke, or a stagecoach that has never arrived. We released our first 10-inch EP in May under Drug Me records. The first LP is going to be recorded in the beginning of 2024.
