You don't have to be an ice hockey fan. You don't even have to know the name of ice hockey goalie Bohumil Modrý. Still, you shouldn't miss this documentary. The tragic story of the world's best ice hockey goalie at the time, told by his younger daughter. She was four years old when her father was taken away by the StB. She didn't see him again until five years later. She remembers him matter-of-factly, evenly, in spare sentences. All the more powerful are the moments when, despite all her refinement, her voice suddenly betrays her.  The less she fights with her emotions, the more powerful they are. The director has thus relied on the authenticity of Blanka Modré's untrained, personal expression, without robbing the story of its visual richness, from archival footage to live-action passages to refreshing animation.
