Markéta Magidová

Markéta Magidová (1984) returns to Boskovice after 14 years - she had one of her first solo exhibitions at the museum. She studied at the Advertising Photography studio at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of the Tomáš Bata University in Zlín, then at the UMPRUM in Prague, majoring in Theory and History of Design and New Media, and at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Technology in Brno at the Video studio. All this is also reflected in her work, i.e. not limited by one medium or theoretical approach. Topics such as memory, intimacy, relationships between individuals and within the social system or social systems resonate in her work. Her work is characterized by a recognizable handwriting, using various forms of imagination and imagination, in recent years she has also included children's drawings. Its installation in public space is also based on this principle.
