Marjari

The musical project Marjari presents alternative singer-songwriter Martina Chinátlová from České Budějovice accompanied by Vlastimil Nohejl (bass) and Ondrej Škoch (drums). Their work is mostly characterized by layers of guitar sequences recorded on looper accompanied by samples. Everything is complemented by the singer's fragile, clear voice. Marjari released her debut LP Hey Girl in 2022. She subsequently played many concerts with the band, and the growing success with listeners was confirmed by the victory of the eponymous song in the
Radio Wave's hit parade Starter. On the album Hey Girl, as on her previous songs, the author draws on her personal experiences, feelings and moods.
Thanks to the win, Marjari has taken to the stages of many clubs and Czech festivals. In October, the second official music video for the single "Only a Dream" was shot in Denmark. In June she made the first official music video for the song Green Hills. She has a fresh single with a music video planned for release in October.
Her music production can be seen as a journey from the comfort of four walls to solo performances with guitar and looper to live shows with a backing band adding to the dynamic.
