Ladbuch

A representative of alternative ambient, guitarist and composer Ladislava Buchta from Krnov, Silesia, is known under the artistic pseudonym Ladbuch. He combines live playing with computer processes. Although he encountered ambient in 1984, at first he did not devote himself to it. It was not until ten years later that he began to create meditative music at his concerts using a four-track tape recorder with pre-recorded tapes, experimenting with prepared guitar, string playing, etc. The result was noise surfaces with an ambient mood. Between 1999 and 2005 he was active in alternative bands Mimostojící, Hasta Luego and began to collaborate with violinist Dan Bartos on compositions with pre-recorded basics. Subsequently, Ladbuch returned to ambient music. He has remained faithful to it to this day, releasing a number of recordings mainly on Blue Lizard Records, Polí5 and Ladbuch/bandcamp.com.
