Hermann Ungar: Moravský Kafka
In July, the outdoor community gallery PRUH in Boskovice will host an exhibition dedicated to the writer and native of Boskovice, Hermann Ungar. This event celebrates his literary legacy and showcases not only his work, but also Gabriela Cikánová Konečná's illustrations that appeared in the book Boys and Murderers. In addition, excerpts from the forthcoming publication Mutilation, scheduled for release this autumn, are also on display.
The exhibition also provides information about the Hermann Ungar Literary Teahouse and the Dogville Coffee House, which are part of the hrnek.eu brand that publishes these books. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to learn about how the writer's granddaughter, Vicky Unvin, came to read her grandfather's work, and the significance Ungar's work represented at the time of publication and continues to represent today.
This exhibition is an opportunity for all who wish to celebrate the rich heritage of Boskovik culture. The hrnek.eu brand, which has been bringing quality tea, literature, coffee and culture to Boskovice for 31 years, will ensure that visitors take away not only new knowledge but also inspiration from Ungar's world. Don't forget to stop by the PRUH gallery and explore the fascinating connection between literature and art that brings Hermann Ungar and his legacy to the general public.
