Bren

The band BREN (Brnoenfield) presents an unmistakable sound combining elements of shoegaze, blues, slowcore and no wave with dark Czech lyrics. They emerged from a musical union between Ivo Lorenc and Šimon Podrazil, who decided to share their musical visions.
In March 2024, they released their debut album entitled Tmou, which they recorded in the autumn of 2023 under the guidance of producer Michal Amák Št'astný in the Golden Hive studio in Prague. The album, imbued with dark and evocative emotions, was released on Kabinet Records.
BREN draws inspiration not only from international artists such as Slowdive, Jaye Jayle, Swans and Nick Cave, but also from the domestic music scene, with influences from Priessnitz.
